Heavenly… a sanctuary. It has been my opportunity to spend days on the beautiful beach, drive through beautiful countryside and just soak up the atmosphere of this lovely, lovely place. I’ll definitely be back, either this winter, when I think I’ll be cosy and warm here, and/or in the summer to spend lazy hours in the garden of the cottage, with the sound of the sheep the only noise in this peaceful place - Ms Lesley (USA), July 2014.

An amazing few days in an amazing cottage. So peaceful and relaxing! Surrounded by beautiful countryside with every comfort provided. A wonderful way to recharge the proverbial batteries – September 2014.

This is a fantastic little home from home tucked away amongst the sheep and close to the coast. The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high specification and includes all the comforts you could want. Footpaths abound from the front door with blackberries on the way at this time of year. A Sunday morning walk to Craster for tea/coffee and views of the sea is a must. Dunstanburgh Castle can be included in a 5 mile round walk with excellent views of the coast. Bamburgh Castle just up the coast is worth a visit as is the Grace Darling Museum and memorial. We felt very much at home here. Owl Cottage is in a stunning location, it’s superbly appointed – what more could you want… but to come back again… please! – Mr & Mrs Davis (Norwich), September 2014.
